On tap at Abnormal, pours black with a small brown head. Nose is very spicy, with lots of candy cane powdery spice, plus a little cocoa and vanilla. Flavour is intensely sweet, with lots of candy cane spicy sweetness, a little cocoa and vanilla. This is like a liquid candy cane in stout form. It's alright but not something I want to drink.

This is pretty much a reasonably sweet Imperial dark beer that's like every other decent beer of this style. Becoming really boring. Tasty but nothing distinguished here at all.

16 oz. Aroma has notes of candy cane, dark bread, coffee, licorice, dark chocolate, molasses. Pours inky black with a one finger tan head with great retention. Taste is moderately sweet with a lightly bitter edge. Nice candy cane and chocolate flavors. Velvety mouthfeel. I love mint flavored stuff and I love beer, so this is a great, yummy concoction to me.

16oz can pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is peppermint chocolate vanilla fudge. Taste is more of the peppermint chocolate and some ash.

11/30/2018. Glad I didn't save this one for the gf, she hates minty chocolate. This is a ton of candy cane with a chocolate cake back. Pretty damn smooth for 11%. Candy cane is nearly overbearing, nose is killer candy cane sometimes, sweet cake others.
