Bottle. Purple red color. Blackcurrant and wet leaves in the aroma. Blackcurrant flavor with some tannines in the sweet, but not overly sweet, slightly sour flavor. Limited dry out effect. Better as expected, quite drinkable even.

Bottle. It’s a clear, at least almost clear, dark ruby beer topped by a small, purple head. Cherrypits, blackcurrant and a little earthy touch in the aroma. The flavor is sweet and sourish, but dominated by blackcurrant. Dry, yet sweet on the palate, medium body fullness. The finish is as the initial flavor dominated by blackcurrant, but there’s also the same sweetness and sourness. Overall, too sweet and blackcurrant-ish, but the sour touch saves the day. 110107

Bottle from Half Time. Pours a very dark red. Takes strong light to get through the glass. Head is a sort of purply beige. Didn’t last all that long. Aroma is dark, tart berry. Med body. It’s tart and it’s sweet. It’s quite astringent. There is a black current aspect - I’ve had the jam - but this is stronger and different. This lambic is one of the better sort - sour! I’ve looked for this for a long time. Worth the wait. Finishes sweet/tart/sour and fruity. Excellent.

Bottle. Dark red body with a thin but beautiful purple head. Aroma is like strong black currant juice. Flavor is sour and sweet black currant juice. Drinkable but very synthetic and far away from the lambic world.

Bottled (from thebelgianbeershop.com). Deep red colour with some blueish hints, pink mediumsized head. Aroma is black currant, actually quite sour stuff. Flavour is black currant with some fruity and sappy notes. Something between sweet and sour. A nice and drinkable brew.

Bottled(250ml). -Deep red/mahagony coloured, medium sized dark pink head, tart black currant nose. Very sour and slight metallic black currant taste and finish. Like some sort of black currant drops.
