Clear brown body small foamy off white head. Bready nutty aroma. Nutty roasty bready flavor. Medium body moderate carbonation. 7/4/7/3/14 3.5

Strange aromas for a brown ale, floral, molasses and cocoa. Flavors are more bitter than sweet, and very heavy carbonation gets in the way. Heavy-handed approach to an easy to brew beer.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Sun Prairie, 2/17/19. Dark brown, large frothy brown head good retention. I'm getting moe typos (referring to a missed comma) (yes tath was more typos(and yes moe and tath are left intentionally)) in my ratings cause fuck ABInbev and VX. I'm pretty sure we're owned by someone not named VX, but the extremely fatal poison gas seems close enough. I digress. Aroma of toffee, caramel, nuts, hints of cherry. Taste is toffee, roast, nuts, cherry, and a buttery note. Medium bodied, well balanced. Tasty, warming. Sic? or Sic Semper Tyrannus?
