The Aromas are roasted coffee, black patent and a little dark malt. Sweetness is just right balance was good, carbonation and a little bitter. Coffee is decent and an easy to drink beer. Okay body and nice finish.

On tap at Hop & Barrel, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with an amber tinge and a small tan head. Aroma brings out fresh earthy coffee upfront, with a touch of lactose, and faint cocoa. Flavour follows suit, with lactose, coffee and cocoa in good combination. The coffee wins out, with the lactose closely following. Pleasant stuff, but not a whole lot of depth.
