swing top bottle 500ml. -shared with Marko. Clear amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, buttery malty nose. Sweet malty, buttery and slight herbal hoppy with notes of caramel. Dry bitterish finish. Better than Moosbacher Lager.

Bottle at Sir William’s Pub, Ljubljana, Slovenia. Poured a bronze-brown coloured body with a thick, slightly off white head that took its’ time to go away. The nose is malty, with notes of milk caramel, buttery and dry. The taste is soft, malty, milk caramel and light butter again, but rounded by a herbal hoppy presence (more taste than bitterness, which almost isn’t there). Interesting "balance", and even refreshing in a way!

Bottle from Total Wine in Roseville, CA. Pours a reddish copper with a decent white head. Aroma is lightly roast malt with something like citrus hop. Medium body with average carbonation. Flavor is malt, a little citrus, a little paper. Finishes lightly floral with hints of wood. Drinks very nicely.

Complete clear amber pour - not much of a head - a kind of bright, fruity character in the nose, along with herbal hops and light toffee - fairly clean and balanced flavor - flavors of toasted grains, toffee, fairly strong herbal bitterness, making way for a more dry, crackery malt character through the middle - fairly clean and tasty, but there is a metallic character and soapiness in the finish that kind of ruins things.

Deep copper coloured body with a ruby tint and a nice thin white head. Aroma of roasted malt, pit fruits, apples, alcohol and a touch of prunes - not the same keller that I’m used to. Medium-bodied; Assertive malty and metallic flavour with some not so-impressive bloody and roasty tastes and a couple of odd fruits tucked in the back. Aftertaste shows some interesting off and musty flavours with the malt coming through the most. Overall, a decent beer, but not the keller or style I’m used to. I sampled this 500 mL swing-top bottle purchased from Liquor Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 03-October-2009, sampled at home in Washington on 16-November-2009.
