Tap at DU. Rich, warm, spicey. Really full bodied, heavy, sweet. Way too much unfermented sugars for me. Nice flavor, but the hefty sugar body doesn't work for me.

12 ounce can from Festival Northland, 6/27/21. Dark thin head, fair retention. Aroma of toffee, figs, booze, caramel, honey, whiskey. Taste is honey, whiskey, caramel, dates. Full bodied, booze pretty well hidden for the ABV. Damn good beer.

Christ in a handbasket! I love me some figs, and Belgians are my JAM, and this is like liquid jam. Fuck me and roast me alive. One of the best quads I’ve had. I’d never seen or heard of this beer but I hope I can find lots more.

the Aromas are traditional Belgian quad Style, roast and a hint of whiskey. Flavors are massively sweet, caramel and a little of some of the aromatic qualities. could use a little balance.

Sampled from the tap at Happy Gnome. Pours a clear deep brown with an amber hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of molasses, sweet dark grains, dark fruits and a bit of whiskey backing. Flavor is quite sweet with molasses and sweet dark grains with a bit of dark fruits and whiskey underlying.
