500ml bottle. I can’t really forgive a company for making a bad Hefe. This is not good. Hazy yellow-orange. Banana clove, but also quite factory and not enjoyable. Not the worst beer ever, but a pretty por example of the style.

0,33 l bottle, simple and clear label. Pale orange and cloudy, medium carbonated for a Weizen, fine white head. Yeast and eggs in the nose. Starts a little bit herb, soft vanilla, later herb banana, chewing gum and again eggs. Dry in the middle with grapefruit and earthy. Thin body. Not my favourite Weizen.

500 ml bottle into weizen glass, no bottle dating. Pours very hazy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of orange zest, banana, pear, apple, clove, pepper, wheat, bread, floral, grass, light bubblegum, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of malt and fruity/spicy esters; with solid strength. Taste of banana, pear, apple, orange zest, clove, pepper, biscuit, wheat, floral, grass, light bubblegum, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of banana, light fruits, clove, biscuit, wheat, floral, light bubblegum, and earthiness on the finish for a bit. Nice balance and complexity of bready malt with fruity/spicy esters; with good fruity/spicy balance, good robustness, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a creamy and fairly crisp mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a nice Hefeweizen. Good balance, robustness, and complexity of flavors; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

bottle, courtesy of pivnizub! Cloudy straw-golden yellow, creamy white head, very stable. Yeasty and wheaty with some fruit flavours, tropical fruit and, of course, banana. Good one.

Bottle. Clay, clove and fermenting fruit. Cloudy yellow, low white head. Wheaty, spiced, somewhat phenolic flavor. Medium body, mellow mouthfeel. Old fruit salad finish.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Wine and Cheese in STL. Pours a fairly hazy, glowing orange appearance with an off white head. Aroma is of dull wheat malt, bread, yeast, clove, and light spices. Kind of thin body. Fairly dry, chewy banana, bready wheat malty, light lemon flavor. Ok in comparison to many of German Hefeweizens that are made in the US but far inferior to most of its German counterparts.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a decent banana and estery clove. Flavor is about the same. A nice banana and clove with some estery yeast. Not as flavor intensive as some German hefe’s but this was decent and had a nice flavor.
