Dark lager has caramel sweetish taste; here you can find slight scent of burnt malt. Its taste is full and the foam dense. This brand is immediately intended for refreshing the humankind’s neater half.

Dark ruby brown with a lasting off-white head. Malt and molasses aroma with a little hops and unfermented wort. Sweet toffee and brown sugar flavour. Nice malty and hoppy finish that isn’t too sweet.

16.9oz bottle. Deep opaque brown. Nutty, pungent brown sugar aroma. Lots of nutty burnt toffee, sweet and malty. There isnt even a trace of hops. Delicate mouthfeel, mild to minimal carbonation. Some light Malta pungency. Enjoyable enough, sort of your Czech Newcastle, with the accompanying quality deficiencies. Light and easy, OK.

50 cl bottle @ VinensVerden, Odense. Pours dark brown with a small creamy head. Nose and taste is sweet of caramel, buiscuit and a hint of butterscotch. A bit of grain. Medium bodied. Too sweet - they forgot the hops? Drinkable.

Bottle, as Dark Lager. A clear, brown beer with a lasting, fingerthick, creamy, beige head. Nice lacings. Dried fruits, some roasted malts and some butterscotch in the aroma. Some hops in the background. Dried fruits, roasted malts tending towards coffee, some sweetness and a pleasant bitterness in the mouth. Full-bodied, dry finish. Roasted finish with dried fruits and some bitterness. Overall it’s maybe a bit sweet initially, but the roasted flavor is nice, and the hops are nice and gentle. Sure a decent brew. (090422)

Big brown shiny lasting head. Deep dark barely translucent brown body with vigourous carbonation. Burnt milky caramel aroma with peppery caramel notes. Dry-sweet roasted almonds and mint taste with wood and caramel notes. Harmonic and balanced. Smooth, fizzy mouthfeel. Dry roasty peppery caramel aftertaste with buttery notes lingers. Excellent! (0.5l bottle, Pivovarsky Klub, Prague.)

bottle at Ft Wayne locals tasting courtesy of thedm and hotstuff - Pours clear amber with a thin light tan head. It has a mild lightly roasted malt aroma. The flavor is really sweet. It tastes like a sort of caramel corn syrup mash and is not impressive in the least. It’s light to medium bodied with maybe a touch of hops in the finish. The ratings are considerably higher than I expected. Maybe it lost something crossing the big pond?

Bottled. A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry toffee finish.
