Bryggeri Helsinki. Keg. Almost clear gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is light, dry and finely crisp. Thin pale malts, mildly sweet. Tea. Orange peel and pith, ripe orange. Floral bitterness. Light semi dry finish, Peel bitter linger. Not bad at all.

Draught at Sopp 2013. Smell of hops. Dark golden colour, white head. Strong aroma of various hops, also citrus spruce and flowers. Bitter with a faint sourness. Flat but plentiful carbon. Very nice overall.

Aroma is sweetish with ripe and exotic fruits, mango, some wine gum candies and grass. Flavour is sweet with fruits and some winegums. Grassy finish with slightly thin palate. An american ipa with a touch of Plevna. Good, although still a bit too sweet for me.

Draft at Pikkulintu. Clear golden color, tan head. Nice aroma of sweet meadow grass. Taste of freshly cut grass. Nice stuff.

Draught @ Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Poured amber color with a white almost fluffy head, nice lacing. Grainy, hoppy aroma. Flavor is fruity hoppy, sweet malts, nice bitter finish. Low carbonation. Nice IPA, easy to drink!

Draught at Kitty’s, Helsinki. Poured a hazy dark amber dark body with a small off white head. Fruity, sweet, almost candyish and agrumey nose, a very nice interplay between the hop and the malt used. The taste is marked by a lovely, bitter hop assault from the start that never goes over the top, pine and agrumes, the latter amidst a general fruity sweetness... some watermelon too? Not extremely complex but still a great, possibly underrated IPA from Finland.

Draught at EBF 2008, Copenhagen, Denmark. Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, flowers, orange notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [130908]
