The last beer I have from Be Hoppy in Madrid after our Mediterranean trip in the spring this year. 440 ml can open now and going into my best globe glass. I see an extremely dark brown liquid, quite viscous, giving off a slender top of mocha tan, very small bubbles. The carbonation is really steady. The nose is heavy with fudge and caramel. I lift the glass for a taste. Wow, there’s a lot going on here. Chocolate fudge, nuts, coconut, toffee, a touch of coffee and baked bread. The moderately high abv is completely covered. Very sweet, really it’s more than I prefer. I lean towards barrel aged imperial stouts but this is still a tasty beer.

Color marrón oscuro casi negro, opaca, bonita espuma color canela cremosa de retención media. Al acercarla a la nariz se percibe aroma a galletas, caramelo, dulce de leche, cola cao, avellanas, crema catalana...
En boca es densa y oleosa, muy sedosa, profunda, sabor goloso acorde con su aroma, muy presentes las notas de avellana y caramelo, licorosa, cálida, cierto amargor achocolatado al final del trago. Muy gozable

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, smoke. Smoky malty taste of coffee, dark chocolate, more chocolate. Malty sweet with a light smoky edge. Nice.

Tap at Taphouse, Copenhagen (04/07/2024) - Sweet dark roasted malty with lots of chocolate, coffee roast, crispy burnt brown sugar, caramel, nice nutty accents, full body, dark malty nutty infused malty lingering finish. Great pastry action.
