Bourbon barrel-aged barleywine, brewed with Maris Otter, Munich, brown sugar, and lots of caramel malt. Ten malts, a long boil, and barrel aging came together to create a complex barleywine with notes of rich caramel, oolong tea, bruleed sugar, and well-aged spirit.

Poured from 375mL bottle (2022 version). Very dark brown with small light tan head. Chocolate, dark fruit, molasses. feint burnt sugar, rich flavour, very nice.

375mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a tiny beige head. Nos eis decadent, with lots of bourbon barrel complexity, brown sugar, some caramel, and molasses. Flavour is extremely rich, with lots of brown sugar, bourbon barrels, and a touch of molasses. Very rich, on the sweet side but not quite cloying, showcasing the bourbon barrels beautifully. Excellent.
