The light-golden classic with creamy foam, tasty and fine-malty. Fresh, hoppy citrus and herbal scents with resinous hints and a nutty aroma note meet a clear, slightly bitter hop bitterness.

Bottle, from trade with Papsoe. A clear, golden beer with a decent white to off-white finger-thick head. A bit weak on the nose, with grains and hops blending quite nicely. Piney, peppery hops. The flavor is mostly on the oppy side, with a fine maltyness in the back. Some sweetness, and resiny hops giving a fine bitterness. A bit sweet maybe. Bitter finish. A quite nice one, but far from extraordinary. Gets a bit sweet in the mouth. (090228)

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Moderately sweet and slightly draffy pale malt-character with a touch of biscuits and herbal hops. Light-bitter flavour, light bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Soft malty base with grassy and herbal hops; moderately bitter finish with traces of metal. Mediocre but drinkable Pilsener (29.IX.08).

I don’t like the Landskron-bottles, they look old I think. The beer is a good one. Fruity-sweet and at the end a little bit dry, too. Not bad!
