Can from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Roasty aroma with chocolate, notes of caramel and coffee. Medium bitter with a fairly dry finish. Roasty aftertaste, more chocolate. Good and drinkable Dry Stout.

440ml can. Quasi black colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Roasty, dark malty aroma, hints of coffee, roasted coffee beans, a touch of dark chocolate. Taste is bitter, roasty, dark malty and slightly bitter, grassy hoppy, hints of coffee surrogate. Creamy-oily texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Nice roasty flavours, a tad too grainy - nice.

Pours a dark colour, but not quite opaque black. A small beige head that leaves a one bubble layer. Aroma's of roasted malts, coffee grind, with some mocha and a hint of red fruit retronasal. Flavour is light moderate bitter with a hint of sour from the roast. Light bodied. Pleasant roasty bitter finish.
