Can, at Stigbergets Fot. It's a black one, with a two-finger thick tan head. Some lacing. The aroma is meaty-smoked, with licorice, molasses and roasted malts. Some dark dried fruit and a good dash of coffee. It's full-bodied and smooth, sweet, with a rather low bitterness. Smoked flavor with lots of coffee. Meaty, with molasses, dark dried fruit and roasted malts. Some bitterness towards the finish, but quite a lot of sweetness. A delicious one indeed, but a bit sweet I think. 240721

Can 440ml @ Stigbergets Fot Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, smoked meat, caramel, alcohol. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, chocolate, smoked, coffee and caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat

Draught@TCBW2023. Pitch black colour with a small white foamy head. Aroma is liquorice, some slight whiskey, mild oaky tones with some slight chocolate and mild alcohol as well. Flavour is alcohol, some wood, mild liquorice, chocolate and toasted tones with a bit of vanilla and some nutty elements. Smooth, though alcohol gives a slight burn.

Can, 0.44l. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, whiskey, dried fruit and pine. Pours dark brown color with medium sized soapy brown head, yeast residue and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with moderate sweet chocolate, roasted malt and dried fruity acidity, follows by whiskey, nuts, licorice and wood, mouthfeel is warm and mild spicy, while finish is mild bitter. Can 44 cl. Pours a thick, syrupy black with a small, light brown head. Sweet roast aroma with notes of dark chocolate. Not many traces of the barrel aging though. Rich body, again sweet roast, vanilla and chocolate. A subtle hint of tannins. Whisky starting to show towards the finish that is sharp and boozy. Appears more whisky infused than whisky barrel aged. But not in any way a bad beer. 030723
