Bottle 0,33ltr: Kosher brewed golden coloured beer from Germany. Bread or grainy smell, hoppy taste and thats it. But interesting beerlabel.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A clear yellow golden beer with a big white head. Aroma of sharp grainy malt, straw and spicy hops. Taste of spicy hops, mild metallic hops, vegetables. Moderate bitterness.

Thanks David. Grainy beginning. Easy to drink, moderate bitter with a grainy finish. Clear 0,33 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Cloudy golden in the glass, two finger white head. Low citrus on the nose, hints auf grain. Taste? Not a lot. Some citrus with sweetness and cardboard grain. Low bitterness. Above average carbonated. Meh.

I remember visiting Brauerei Hartmannsdorf, close to Chemnitz, in 1991, just after die Wende. The brewer showed me the brewery, that was very old, rusted and badly needing maintenance. The beers were alright, though. To my utter surprise, the brewery has survived the economic crisis in the former DDR, has been renewed and now brews this type of beer. Ahem. Grainy aroma with apple. Thin grainy apple flavor. Medecinal aftertaste. Just barely drinkable. The former DDR wasn’t all bad.....

Bottle: Golden, a bit unclear, small white head; grainy-mineralic nose with grassy hops; dryish bitter-sweet flavour, thin, not fizzy; dry bitter, slightly adstringent, slightly lingering finish. Simple dry brew, no "joy"......

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A more or less clear one, some chill haze. Golden in color and with a small, off-white head. The aroma is dominated by citrusy hops, leaving little room for the malts. It’s a bit thin on the palate, dry and with a pleasant bitterness towards the end. Bitter, citrrusy flavor. Well, not a winner in any way, but quite decent and quenching. 110319
