Soft, slightly roasty and woody with some licorice, oak, honey, vanilla, hints of bourbon and toffee. Quite balanced and complex OMT

(Bottle, 0.25l - 2021 vintage, at Pikkulintu Myyrmäki, 20231125) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, wood, vanilla, dark chocolate and honey. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, honey, vanilla, ash, honey and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, honey and bitterness. A pleasant burnt brew with balanced barrel notes. The honey gave a nice twist.

Bottle 0.25l at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Color is very dark brown with very small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, some dark chocolate, coffee, some Cacao, some distant hints of honey and roasted malts. Very nice mellow malty body. Excellent.

Bottle, 250 ml. Shared with Zec, JFK10000, MiroB and Miro and Max at my Grande. Black with tan head. Chocolate, cocoa, huge barrel, wood. Quite smooth. Medium to full bodied. Well rounded.

Fairly thin body, a litlle bit sweet, boozy, softly roasty. Lots of barrel, dark chocolate, maybe a touch of dark fruit in the finish. Smooth and very nice.

Flaska från Systembolaget. Svartbrun med lite gyllene bubblor. Doftar choklad, läder och lite trä. Choklad, plommon, läder, lakrits och ek.

Flaska. Doftar choklad, vanilj, torkad frukt och en gnutta rökig sprit. Smakar likör, oboypulver, en gnutta soja. Väldigt fin mjuk munkänsla. Vinös i största allmänhet.

Bottled 250ml. -at RBESG 2023 Grand Tasting. More than a half bottle left for me. Pitch black coloured, small brown head, barrel and alcohol in the nose. Roasted malt, barrel, chocolate, wood, touch of peanuts and alcohol with a bit too boozy finish.

Bottle pour shared by ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! It's an opaque black with nice viscosity. Aroma is strong earthy roasted malt with a peat quality, wood. Taste follows aroma. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture. Overall, excellent strength and balance. Not super complex.
