Tap @ Cardinal. Close to black body under a fine, dense pale beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Taste is sweet, dark malt, roasted nuts, some coffee, bitterhops, hint of resin and some chocolate somewhere far away in the background. Balanced body with sweet malt and bitterness I n aftertaste. This has nothing to do with a brown ale imo as this is closer to a porter but I like it a lot anyway.

8-4-8-4-16 On tap @ Salikatt Taproom. Pours dark brown, with a creamy mocha head. Aroma is grainy roasted malts with syrupy bread, as well as mellow earthy hops. Full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with caramels, syrupy bread, and nutty notes, as well as earthy hops.

200ml draught, enjoyed at Tromsø Mikrobryggeri. Upper part lacing on the glassware from filmy, beige layer. A deep ruby glint to a pretty black body. Attractive aromas of nuts and nut shells alongside scents of cocoa powder, nicely roasted. Well blended taste character of cocoa, nutty caramel, and oats joined by fruity hints. Smooth malt-fruity ending, moderately roasted. Well bodied and well crafted. (Tromsø, 21.07.2023).
