Milk, barley malt, and grass aroma. Pale yellow with large white head. Mildly sweet creamy barley malt, and mildly bitter grass flavor. Good body.

Mildes Pilsner, wenig aromatisch, sehr dezent getreidiges und blumiges Aroma, der Hopfen wirkt etwas metallisch, wenig stabile Schaumkrone. Das Urpils aus selbem Hause hat deutlich mehr Charakter.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a lacing, white head. Fine floral hop aroma on a malty backbone. Medium body, clean maltiness and a fine balancing bitterness. Karlsberg can brew mighty fine beers when they want to. 130125

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Background a bit moldy. Shy grasy-malty hints. Finish well balanced, malty, spicy, a bit metallical. Okay.

0,33 l bottle out of a Karlsberg glass. Big thank you to Erzengel! Clear golden with a small one finger white head in the glass. More caramel on the nose than grain. Tast is smooth grainy, less caramel, some malt, hints of citrus. Low bitterness in the aftertaste. Okay.

Tight white foamy head stayed on lively clear pale golden coloured body. Crisp, lemon, malt & grain aroma. Medium bodied, foamy cloying & sticky. Light malt, cereal, lemon & confectionery tastes. Excellent Pils.

Thanks Dominik! Clear blond colour, white foam. Light grainy, metallic, unpleasant bitter finish. Boring, not a good German pilsner.
