Panda at home, thanks to Mark the Bearded Avenger, 21/12/2025.
Light black topped with a tan head that veers to the edge.
Nose is nutty, chocolate, dark malts, dried fruit rinds.
Taste comprises chocolate, hint of peanut butter, toffee, dried fruit rinds.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close.
Okay porter.

Can from a South Korean supermarket in London. Dark and inky. Foamy beige head soon recedes almost entirely. Aroma has sweet berries with a sour edge. Underlying creamy coffee. Flavourwise it is again led by sour berries. Some coffee. Moreso in the underbelly. Malts are a tad cardboard. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Decent enough workmanlike stuff.

ABV: 4.5%. ✅ Clear medium to dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, ash, chocolate, coffee - dusty coffee, nutty - hazelnut, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, chocolate, cocoa, dark malt, toasted - roasted, nutty - hazelnut, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20230330]

Sample (thanks omhper!). Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is nutty, milk chocolate, some dried fruity tones. Flavour is nutty, chocolaty and some mild herbal and earthy tones. Dried fruity and chocolaty aftertaste with hazelnuts.

--Canned, from Busan. -- Black, mid sized head. Aroma of milk chocolate and hazelnut extract. Sweetish with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Pretty artificial with milk powder and hazelnut extract. Mid bitter finish.

(Can) Pours clear deep brown with red highlights and a small loose tan head. Lovely aroma of dark roast malt and chocolate. Medium body with nice bright carbonation. Great taste. Some pleasant dark roast bitterness balanced with some slight chocolate sweetness, and a little tartness. Both easy drinking and enjoyably tasty.
