sprøng is a blend of mature wild ales, aged in oak puncheons (400 and 500L) for around 1,5 up to 3 years, and a barrel fermented and aged saison type of beer, which was dryhopped for a few months with Saaz hops. We’ve added Sicilian sage and also wormwood (artemisia absinthium and another secret variety) to the final blend to macerate a week before bottling. It’s a subtle addition we made compared to sprong, to add a slightly earthiness and spice to it.

Wow, super lemony. Lemon, lemongrass, lemonbalm. Lemon scented candles. Pours lemon coloured with decent head. Tart lemon finish. Also..... lemon. Tap at Snally.

Had at Snallygaster. Poured a bright yellow-orange color with a small white head. Aroma big floral notes. Flower, thistle, herbal. Oak. Nice tartness.

Snallygastetr: gold white head. Aroma is floral, funky. Effervescent, bright and funky. nice herbals notes of sage and the like. Interesting flavor profile.

Taster during MBCC 2023 Friday afternoon session shared with Ryan, Matt, Phill, and Erik. Nice farmhouse notes and dry-hopping combo, maybe a bit soapy. Finishes with a light bitterness. Dry.

Drucken från flaska på MBCC 2023. Grumlig gyllengul färg med ett tunt benvitt huvud. Doft av nejlika, malört vin, jäst och lite ek. Smaken är måttligt syrlig, med en krispig, lätt, jordig, vinös, torr ek, syrlig, lätt kropp och pigg fin syra, Riktigt fin doft och smaken inte långt efter om än inte lika unik.
