0,5 l. bottle from the supermarket. Labeled as 1 Porse. Usual pilsener colour - clear golden. Thin to medium body, with a fast disappearing head. Aroma is hoppy and something I haven’t smelled before, must be the bog myrtle. Flavor is very sweet again with a note of what must be the bog myrtle. Bog myrtle is a substitute to the hops, no wonder that hops is by far more common! However Thy Breweries attempt to bring nordic herbs in to brewing is very sympathetic.

Bottled. Clear pale golden, rich head. Bitterish bog myrtle aroma. Light bodied. The sweet fruity malt is dried out by salt, hops and bog myrtle. Herbal salty bitterness follows soon.

Biggish white head. Yellow body with carbonation. Fruity rubbery aroma with harsh herbal notes. Dry-sweetish corn, rubber, and harsh herbal taste with alcohol notes. Fullish body. Dusty mouthfeel. Dry harsh herbal aftertaste, probably from the gale. Did not enjoy this. Drainpour. (0.33l can, from SuperBrugsen, Billinge.)

21/11 0.33 l can courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! This one poured typical pale yellow body with medium sized head. So typical boring pale lager aroma, corny, some cheap malts...blah. Flavor is watery, so familiar, quite industrial pale lager, malty, somewhat hoppy, but with some oddly interesting herbal side notes of "porse" (myrtle, fine). No real finish. Too watery. Did not definitely impress me...a bad batch?
