Got this boy at the brewery. The orange colour was quite bright, but alas the beer looked better than it actually tasted. Nothing really special in this beer. Rather standard. It is balanced and drinkable enough, but it is nothing special. I would drink it again if I had nothing better to do.

Can. Amber colored beer, clear and sparkling, with an off-white head. Weak, malty-fruity aroma and a toffee-ish flavor with some roastiness and hops. Not exactly too much flavor, but this was better than expected. It has a quite fizzy mouthfeel, a medium to thin body, and a finish with caramel maltiness and some hops. The fizzyness and caramel can be felt for quite long, especially the fizzyness stays too long. (060609)

Bottled. Reddish pale amber, brief head. Aroma of strawberries and caramel malt. Sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Lightly roasty, really caramelly, low bitterness. Surprisingly decent Carlsberg beer.

(Bottle 33 cl) A true "designer beer" influenced by a designated focus-group of beer drinkers.
Beautiful, clear dark amber with a fine, creamy head that leaves a lovely lacework. Quite dry with some fine hops that leave a short bitterness. Malty body with traces of nuts. Quite an interesting offering from Carlsberg and dissimilar to most other Danish lagers. Stylistically this is closer to a Vienna. 110504

(33 cl bottle). Made with glucose syrup ... hmmm. Deep golden colour. Smooth, mellow flavour. Not bad.
