A real classic, Belhaven’s St Andrews Ale is inspired by the great Scottish invention – golf. It’s simple really – a truly great beer, great balance and great flavours. The pale malt gives a biscuity and Horlicks note and the crystal malt adds toffee and caramel. Challenger and Goldings hops give a clean bitterness and fresh dry hop character which balances the sweet malt and the warmth from the alcohol. A warming, malty brew.

Klar amber med lyst beige skum. Aroma malt korn brød frukt. Smak malt smør karamell frukt. Fruktig og maltet og med fin fylde og lett bitterhet. Flaske fra Eurospar Langnes

Adding in my 300 Beers To Try ticks because I want to see how they impact my stats and some of them I will never see again. Will however re-rate them when practical. Sumpermarlet in Oulu, Finland. Was decent enough in the sauna.

500ml bottle from TBS in Moscow. Pours clear amber with a thin off-white head. Aroma is toffee, malt, herbal. Taste is light sweet, biscuit, toffee, malt. Light bitter finish.

Amber color, thick creamy head. Caramel, biscuit and hops in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with a dash of smoke and some lychee and peach fruit. The smoky character adds some depth to this tasty beer that lacks a bit of bitterness.

light golden brown color. Fairly caramel, but for some reason I loved this on cask.
