24/8/2023. Cask at the 44th Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours clear dark mahogany maroon brown with a frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of toffee, coffee, bread, citrus, malt, dried fruit. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Slightly oily, soft carbonation. Enjoyable.

Cask at Zapato Brewery. Off black colour with a white head. Aroma and taste have some coffee bitterness, and hints of berry. Smooth medium body.
