Apricots, fresh, and like the other bofkont it’s sharp and astringent, gets subtler after a while.

Small yellowish head over opaque orange beer. Citrus (lemon, orange), citruspeel, preserved orange, even orangeliqueur and lactic acid. Quite sharp acidity, again citrussy in character, lactic acid obvious. Unripe grapes. Lipsmacking acidity, even astringency, dry-out effect. Certain perfuminess in the aftertaste, lavender-like. Good beer, but a diminished sharpness would be beneficial.

0,75l bottle at Carnivale Brett, Amsterdam. yellow cloudy color, small white head. smells peaches, very fragrent, parfumy, cinnamon. Lovely smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes stone fruits, plums, peaches, bit cinnamon, bit lactic. finishes dry and light to medium sour with notes of peaches, stone fruits and lactic notes. Very good stuff, a tad on the lactic side, but overall very good
