Taster from 0,75l bottle at Carnivale Brett, Amsterdam. Amber hazy color, small white head. smells funky, cheesy, stone fruits, oak. Lovely smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes funky, earthy, bit smoky, stone fruits, grassy, herbal, bit leathery. finishes lightly dry and light to medium sour with notes of leather, grass and earthy notes. Good stuff, very nice one

Small white rim over veiled orange-golden beer. Sharp-ish nose, partly toasted, partly lambic/horseblanket, partly as a mold (in a positive sense). Also cake and frying oil. Very changing, variable and intriguing nose. Again cake, but also meaty - I got an idea as from truffled meatmousse. The lambic dominates the finish entirely. There is also something as from red rice, too. Acidthinning and -burn, quite slick and still at least medium bodied; good, if invisible carbonation. For a first try - albeit the result of 3 years trying and lagering - more than impressive. Txs to Richard & Evert!
