Small dirty-pink rim over fully dark red to purple beer. Cherry nose, if restrained and bit closed, still full-fruity and yet intense; bit musky, red berries. Taste of cherries however is fully intense, with flavours of cherryskins, concentrated (real) cherryjuice. Fresh green garden herbs, flowers and wood. Finish flashes a hint of blood/iron. Warming up, bit almondy. Almost chewy despite the thinning. Tart, lipsmacking acidity and acidburn. Amazing kriek.

Taster from 0,75l bottle at Carnivale Brett, Amsterdam. Deep red hazy color, small white head. smells cherries, marzipan, bit leathery, earthy. Move smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes leathery, cherries, grassy, earthy, lactic. finishes dry and medium sour with notes of cherries, lactic notes and leather. Nice stuff, rather on the lactic sour side, good overall
