Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Waitrose. Pours clear deep brown with a frothy, khaki head. Light-medium sweet flavour with soft roast, cocoa, some dark fruits, raisins, a little earthy bitterness. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Well balanced finish, some chocolatey malts, earth, dark fruits. Tasty and easy drinking.

14/4/2023. Can from Waitrose and Partners, Peterborough enjoyed on train home to Ipswich. Enjoyed from the quite attractive can. Aroma is light roasted, malty, vanilla, milk chocolate, nut, hints of bounty bar. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness with a metallic tang. Moderate body, quite watery, average carbonation. Watery with an odd bitterness to finish. Not sure this one suited canning.
