Bottle from Bierland in Hamburg. Hazy copper with a huge head. Drinkable but a little too weak aroma and taste. Some soap, yeast, grass, wheat and light notes caramel. Not the best German Hefeweizen.

On tap @ La Cerveteca, Barcelona. Hazy, dark orange body with a dense off-white head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty, light ester and a bit floral. Feels refreshing. Flavor is refreshing fruity, a bit sweet, some banana, light caramel, yeast and light bitterness. Medium body and good aftertaste. Not complex but not to ordinary either, like something between a hefe-weiss and dunkelweiss. I really enjoyed this one.

Almost a dark wheat with ordinary turbidity, fresh foam. Full-bodied, slightly bitter Antrunk stocky, beautiful Hefemalzanzug with lovely moments. Unfortunately, some tapering aqueous

Bottled (BZ, BB 08/2010)
Beer which has a label with tractor lights on, can’t be bad! Copper brown, amber color, small white head. Suprisingly weak aroma has hay, some wheaty and grainy notes. Crisp carbonation. Flavor is similar: some grass/hay, wheat, very much bio beer -like flavors. Palate is not very robust. Drinkable, but not enjoyable.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Hazy deep orange colour, not much head. Aroma is cookies, some wheat, mild fruityness as well as yeast and some mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is caramel malts, wheat, some slight cookies, fruits as well as some wood. Rather pleasant flavour.

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Starts strong and yeasty, quite sourish from the beginning. Also fruity like lemon, a bit apricot. Finish still quite sourish, also a bit soapy and dusty. Not really my favourite!

33 cL bottle. Pours dark orange, almost murky and with a classic white wheat beer head. Light malt aroma, classic eastery wheat aroma. Flavour starts quite sweet. Goes into a more fruity/estery wheat note and has a light acidic touch. Ends with a mild eastery note and a light acidic bite.

Bügelverschlußflasche (Dank an Stefan!): Deep golden, hazy, relatively quickly diminishing fluffy white head; sweetish-sourish wheaty nose with a touch of necrotic yeast; moderate sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, soft MF; light sweet, maybe a bit sourish finish. Rather bland Weizen........

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, murky golden colour with a big but diminishing eggshell-coloured frothy head. Dusty, sweet wheat-malty nose with notes of bubble gum, light fruity notes of banana and clovy spice. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter and faint acidic flavour, light body impression, medium carbonation. Wheaty and slightly fruity taste with notes of bubble gum; sweet wheat-malty and moderately clove spicy finish. A decent kind of Ur-Weizen (23.04.08).
