This barrel-aged savory stout takes inspiration from authentic Mexican Mole sauce. We took hand harvested Mexican Chicatana ants and blended them with Mexican Chiapas cocoa nibs, Ceylon cinnamon sticks from Vera Cruz, Pompano, Bahiana, and Planifolia vanilla beans from around Mexico with a blend of Mexican dried chilis. Savor this flavor with your most adventurous crew while chowing down on some pork ribs.

Tap. Murky black color with almost no head. Aroma is cocoa, cinnamon, ants (jk - I don't know what ants smell like in a beer). Taste is cinnamon, mild chili catch, cocoa, good flavours, big body despite it not being too sweet. Thicc mouthfeel, viscous. Good!

On tap at Peders, pours black almost no head. Aroma brings out mixed chili peppers, bourbon barrels and a little cocoa. Flavour is very spicy, with lots of roasted malt, spicy peppers, and cocoa. Dry, spicy, and complex. Interesting and well-coordinated.

Tap @ Peders. Black without head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla and bourbon. Flavor is extremely sweet. Extemely sweet finish with warming alcohol. Pily and soft. 040523
