Bottle @ home. Unclear brownish amber body under a small tan head. Aroma has malt, dry fruit, light toffee and some acidity. Taste has sweet malt, dry fruit, acidic plum with hint of chokolate and toffee. Well hidden alcohol for this strenght. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. Unusually, interesting and well made with perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. .

Bottle at Old Bookshop, Bristol. Pours clear dark copper with beige foam. Aroma: prominent plum, caramel, prunes, raisin, vanilla, oak. Taste: Moderate+ sweet with lighter bitterness, somewhat boozy finish. Medium to full body with low carbonation.

Tap @MBCC2023, Blue Session. Very dark brown, beige head. Vinous aroma, dark malty, fruity. Sweet flavour, syrupy, fruity with some light acidity to balance.
