Bottle @MBCC 2025, Red Session. Oily black no head. Heavy dark malty aroma, jammy. Heavy sweet rich dark malty flavour, some licorice, boozy warmth. Bitter finish.

Roast and lots of caramel. Tons. Some sour mash whiskey. Black oily pour without much head. This beer is very big, and kind of add fuel to my opinion that without all the adjuncts these guys' beers wouldn't be that great. Tons of booze in the finish, and candied whiskey barrel aftertaste cloys for a while. At least I don't need to go blow money on more expensive 3 Sons big impy stouts. Bottle pour at Churchkey event.
