An Irish Whiskey BA Imperial Stout Brewed with Coffee.
Taste: A full-flavoured beer with a silky body, which unveils a journey of smooth coffee, toasted malts and vanilla with a light dab of whiskey in the finish. As the beer warms up, the flavour profile opens up to hints of warming spices and roasted hazelnut.
Appearance: Jet black with a chestnut brown head.
Nose: Smooth aroma of freshly brewed coffee with hints of luscious vanilla, charred oak and candied ginger gently unfolding from the glass.
Malts: Pilsner zero, Munich light, Carafa special T-2, Oat malt, Caramel pale, Caramel 150, Dark sugar, Lactose, Maltodextrin
Hops: Columbus, Yellow Sub, Coffee
OG 29.8° ; FG 10.6° ; IBU 25

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, no head. Aroma of chocolate and tart red wine. Sweet with full body and rounded, oily mouthfeel. Treacle, chocolate and caramel, mikd fruity whiskey. Warming finish with mild bitterness.

33 cl bottle @ home. Batch #0496: Bottled 09.03.2023, BBE 09.03.2027 Aroma has coffee, licorice and odd Belgian yeast notes. Flavour has liquor, some chocolate, licorice, alcohol. Finishes with woody tones and bourbon-style vanilla. Somewhat simple for the style.

Semmi hab, fekete szín. Enyhén füstös, kávés, zabos illat. Enyhén savanykás, zabos, kávés, karamelles ízek, némi whiskey-s aromával. Testes, enyhén szénsavas, enyhén keserű. Nincs igazán összhang, és nekem egy kicsit savanyúbb, mint kellene.

Bottle shared by Sladkyna zla. Full body, medium carbonation. Rich chocolatey maltiness, with med-light coffee presence, mix actual and malty. Subtle barrels and pleasant whiskey presence. Light alcoholic warmth. Overall very good.
