Tasting @ Salon del Gourmet. Pale golden colour with a white head. Light malty in the nose with slightly bready notes. Flavor is light hay and cereal with a low to mil bitterness.

Pours clear straw with white head, which disappears quickly. Aroma is just disgusting. Taste is also bad. Overall: it’s cheap and it has high abv, it’s all anyone ever needs to know about this beer. --- Beer merged from original tick of Double Bock on 13 Sep 2017 at 17:14

Sample from 50 cl. bottle, B.B. March 2004. Hazy, dark golden colour with a thin, white head. Sweet aroma with bread, grains, sugar and marzipan. Medium to full body, creamy texture. Short, sweet finish. Too sweet and sticky to be good. But the alcohol has mellowed down during ageing.

33cl from Tallinn Airport. Pours clear pale golden with a small white head. Lightly malty aroma with hints of fruits, grass and cooked vegetables. Alcohol is noticeable, but not as dominant as expected. Sweet, warming and fairly easy to drink, but not much flavour. Some bitterness in the finish. Fairly decent strong lager...

Can thanks to FatPhil. Cheers my friend. Pale gold thick white head. Not a great aroma, some vegetal qualities along with some light lemon hop, Some sweet syrup in the flavour. Rest is ok, some lemon, bit of bitterness on finish. Yep, not too bad. It’s got some syrupy lemon.

500ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour with small, frothy, collapsing, white head. Slightly muggy, strawy aroma with an artificial sweet touch has some tart notes additionally. Taste has a decent fresh sourish touch, a strange soapy bitter overtone, a powerless grainy, minimally sweet malt basis. I hope imploringly this brew doesn’t really match " the current taste preferences of Estonian consumers".

Bottled, 0.5l. Clear yellow colour, thin white head with average carbonation. Malty aroma, with hints of brandy and light hops. Sweet malty taste with strong alcoholic note. Surprisingly it left me relatively bitter aftertaste. Medium bodied, slick texture and lively carbonation. Almost average...

Citric aroma. Very light colour. Well balanced taste. Pleaseant palate, alcohol content doesn’t ruin this. I’m no fan of strong pale beer but this one did qualify.
