Bottle. Alc. 4.7%. Clear medium amber color with a average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (260807)

Deep gold/light amber beer with a bubbly off-white head. Chinook is strong in the aroma with delicious pine and tobacco, and also some roses noted. Hops are in charge of the flavour too - there is just enough malt to balance the bitterness, it never gets sweet in any way. Bitterness and hop flavour is noticed from the first impression to the lasting aftertaste. That’s my kind of IPA.

Bottle from Utobeer. Amber, lasting beige head. Certainly more aggressively hoppy than the Doggie Style Pale Ale I had just before. Far more toffee in this, better balanced, better malts to offset the fairly harsh hop. Not excessive, but harsh. Good bitterness. Smoother, more grown up than the pale ale. Oddly English. I think due to the strength. You could see Thornbridge Hall making this beer. Mature.

Orange with a bubbly white head. Piney, grape, grassy, flowery, soapy hop aroma and taste. Very dry bitter & light bodied. Pleasant and drinkable - but not excellent! Could need a malty background! Tasted 2nd time feb 08. Deserved a higher rating 3,5 - 3,7.

Two finger slightly off white head and a amber color. Head goes away before I could really look at it for too long and doesn’t really leave a good lacing. Flowery, fruity aroma as usual. Taste is of pretty piney hops, with a little fruity finish that is nice and refreshing. Pine is pretty much the main flavor here. Bitterness abounds wonderfully. Pretty good beer for number 350.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe Wonderfully aromatic light amber coloured beer that poured with a nice clarity and good medium white bubbly head. Super floral aroma, tasted bitter but with more restraint than anticipated and there was even some peachy/apricot flavours coursing through this beer, slipped down a treat and was my beer of the evening from the three Flying Dog Beers I had.

Copper-brown beer with white light head. Aroma is fruitful and very fresh. Taste is fruity and sweet there is also hops in the beginning. Aftertaste is very hoppines and long. This is very good beer for someone who likes lots of hops.

(355 ml bottle at Karlson’s Garage & Bar, Göteborg) Labeled 4.7% ABV, which seems very very low for an IPA. Clear golden color, big fluffy orange head. Sweet and citrucy hoppy scent. Also vanilla and milk, blood-oranges smell. Very bitter taste, no way it’s only 36 IBU! Grape aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, big bitterness.

Bright amber colour. Citrusy, woody aroma with some caramel notes. Soft caramelly malts on the palate back up bright mango, orange, wood and pamplemousse notes. Mild, but well-structured with interesting, bright flavours.
