Thank you for including this into my sampler pack. As an IPA, I am not expecting much, itβs not my favorite style. Only reason why Iβm sampling it is because itβs there. Bright orange yellow into the steeler stein. Lots of bubbles and an aroma of what else, hops??? Has yer same old IPA bitter offensiveness and it lingers after the finish like medicine. What else can be said about an IPA? Can I begin to appreciate this style? I guess so, since now I think of the flavor as grapefruit and peel instead of bitter astringent. Well, this bitter grapefruit peel flavor is lingering. IPA is rated low on my flavor scale for styles.

This IPA poured a golden yellow colour with a nice off white head. Scents include citrus and lots of it, bread and eggs? First taste was very floral with hops and a little bitter. Actually very hoppy. Finish has a orange citrus taste with a bitter palate at the end. This seems to be at the other end of the hop spectrum compared to other raters. This one was very hoppy.

Bottled. Nice hoppy smell upon opening. Pours a light brown with a big head at first, bubbles of different sizes climbing up the glass. Taste is hoppy up front, but not heavy. Mostly reminiscent of pineapple, with an orange backbone. Smell while drinking becomes more piney, as befits dry-hopping. Biys of vanilla come around, too.

Bottle from Erader Joes; Nose is hoppy and citrusy; dark gold with a big long-lasting pale golden head; flavor has some citrus, malt, and hops which fades into a big hop finish, but not overly bitter.

Bottle: A maltier than usual IPA, the hoppiness is there, but competes with the malt. Some floral hops are present, just a bit of citrus, but not more than a medium in intensity. A bit too much malt for my taste in an IPA.

Bottled. Amber coloured, small white head. Strong flowery hoppy nose with weak hints of leather. Strong flowery, kind of sweetish, hoppy flavour. True to itβs style and pleasantly balanced, but still nothing to go "weeeeee" for.

Crystal clear golden-orange color with minimal bubbly head and lacing. Aroma is musty and grassy with hops trying to it up. Flavor is extremely sweet for the style... caramel and grass dominate with a hoppy bitterness at the begining and end. As it warms the hops flavoring starts to come out much more fully.
