A dark mahogany amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet malty water with definite oxidation. In mouth, sweet malt, faint hops, watery and boring. Passed due. BB March 2010.

Dark brown with very substantial head, which reduces mostly but doesn’t completely disappear. Sweet malt, almost toffee, on the nose. Tastes of honeyed wheat. Medium bodied, creamy texture and refreshing finish. Overall, a very pleasant easy-drinking beer, if not overly exciting.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Copper colour, mediumsized foamy/fluffy slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, some bready notes as well as mild notes of syrup. Flavour is being quite much the same along with some grassy and mildly nutty notes. A bit boring, but technically no big flaws.
