Session IPAs date back to World War I when drinking on the job wasn’t *ahem* considered problematic. Workers were allowed two 2-hour drinking sessions (4 hours) per workday. Now, for the average hophead, drinking a regular IPA would make you feel too drunk. This called for a full flavoured beer that wouldn’t make workers too pissed.
Our Pond Surfer is a hop forward, well-balanced summer-in-a-can Session NEIPA suitable all year round with fruity flavours from the hops and with a sessionable ABV.
