We craft this much like a sculptor who uses only a hammer and chisel to shape stone into a masterpiece. Hoppe is spawned of these few essentials: barley, wheat, hops, yeast and water. This limited palette is an exercise in minimalism, with refined elements which are deliberately selected. This simple combination creates a golden shimmering brew infused with delicate aromas. The artful nature of this beer is exposed with the first taste. As the malt and hops created a composition of flavors, and elegant finish leaves an impression that your tastes will not soon forget. Don’t be deceived by the innocence of Hoppe. Please enjoy in moderation.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are caramel, hops, malt, flowers and some buttery notes.

22 ounce bottle. Pours clear amber color with a thick 2 finger white head with good retention, good lacing. Aromas of caramel, citrus, and floral. Taste is almost identical to the nose with a very nice bitterness on a crisp finish. Medium body and carbonation. Decent balance, and nice alcohol warming on the finish. Very tasty beer, despite the fact I am not a huge fan of wheat in beer.

Bottle, 22oz. It pours an almost clear body, golden in color, and is topped by a small, off-white head. Hoppy, piney and citrusy nose, some peaches and sweetish scents too. The flavor is like the aroma hop driven, with piney, resiny bitterness, leaving little room for the malty flavors. Medium to full body, nice bitterness in the finish. A quite lovely one, but not reaching world class. 100115

Bottle. Golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is grapefruit, malt, hop. Flavour is grapefruit, pine, malt, hop, peaches, alcohol. Full body. Very nice beer.
