Bottle @ the brewery and later @ home. Slight cellar aroma with a hint of sulphur. Pineapple and peach. Firm earthy hopbitter flavor with hints of citrus and pineapple overshadowing the malty notes. Less malty sweet as a Zoigl, but that is compensated by the firm hop character. Good balance. Not far away from the better rural Bavarian Landbiere. Don’t pour it too cold. The brewery also sells this beer as Mommeriete Landgoedbier. After a few days extra lagering the cellar aroma has disappeared and the flavor has developed a bit further.

Bottle (thanks bierkoning!). Cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma of fruits, citrus, some yeast, some honey notes and a bit of malt. Sweetish and slightly spicy flavor with some malt, yeast, fruits (apples and some others) and a slightly drier finish, Medium-bodied. Tasty and quite refreshing.

Bottled (BBE 2008)
Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Hazy orange color, good whisp-creamy white head. Yeasty, orange fruity aroma with some cardboardish notes. Quite bitter hoppy flavor, but mix of yeast and attacking Saaz-hops make this kind of harsh and not very enjoyable. Aftertaste has good hoppyness.

Bottled. Hazy golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is hops and malts with some fruits. Flavour is quite earthy, saltwatery and also has some notes of herbs and yeast. Refreshing and quite interesting. It grows a bit when warming up.
