Can, Tesco, Telford. Pitch black, smaller beige head, not lasting. Mild roasted nose, hints of coffee and chocolate, nice. Medium bitterness, somewhat roasted. SLight sweetness in the finish. Lasting roasted aftertaste. Medium body. Average, really.

Poured like a Nitro with a creamy tan head on a near black body. Malt, toast & roasted aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & creamy with a thinner clean back. Malt, nutty, cigarette & chocolate tastes with light citrus finish. Drinkable.

Can. Nose is roast, toasty hint of vanilla. Taste is roast, toast, slightly smokey, woody just a touch of fruity. Mouthfeel is very soft but the taste lacks body and the finish is overly woody. There's something wrong with the finish it doesn't feel balanced and the body is too soft. I think Guinness has an outsized reputation, but the unadulterated original is definitively better than this

500ml can from Tesco Telford. Pitch black pour with a small tan head. Chocolatey nose, mild roast. Silky smooth palate, pleasantly roasty profile with noticeable chocolate shades. More flavoursome than Guinness that's for sure, but shares an aroma of corporate greed.
