Can, 4.1%. Black with medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel and liquorice. Flavour is roasted malt, caramel, liquorice, medium sweet, little thin and a little bitter.

Can 44cl. from a local Jumbo supermarket @home. Pitch black, very small but a few minutes lasting creamish off-white head, Reluctant aroma, roasted malt, coffee, cocoa, ashy notes. Smooth taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, coffee, some chocolate. Light to medium body, light oily texture, soft carbonation, lingering roasty dry bittersweet aftertaste, quite thin but not watery but I miss the cardboard ;-), well-made but not the real thing, nice.

Vart med lys brunt skum. Lukter lakris, mørk sjokolade og noe røkt. Middels fylde. Smaker havre, mørk sjokolade, nøtter og lakris. Middels lang.

On tap at American Taproom, Singapore. Black beer with crema on top. Slight dark chocolate/cocoa nose. Sticky lacing. Smooth mouthfeel, easy drinking. Slightly tinny lingering finish. Nothing too exciting. An obvious clone of our Irish friend.

black colour, 1 cm of creamy beige head, which lasts for several minutes; aroma of burnt woody-ash-nutty, coffee and some unripe plum; taste has the same notes with some soy sauce;not bad at all
