Nice tasty stout at a kind of low alcohol level Complete black pour and a fine tan head Decent intensity in the aroma Mellow sweetness and a soft carbonation level Dark malt, mild roast, chocolate and some coffee Fine complexity [On tap at The Dubliner in Oslo, Norway]

Can from Eltham Sainsburys. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is coffee, chocolate, caramel, toffee. Taste is chocolate, raisin, liquorice toffee, caramel. Malty lightly bitter finish.

Can. Dark brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, light vanilla. Taste is roasted malt, coffee, touch of vanilla and licorice. Could have more body, but I liked it.

Clear dark brown to black beer, big aery irregular beige head, lots of big bubbles, non adhesive. Aroma: very malty, grains, cow fodder, gentle roast, a little metallic, some caramel. MF: soft to no carbon, light body. Taste: good roast, pretty bitter, a bit metallic, hoppy, more roast. Aftertaste: very dry finish, a little soapy, watery.

Can, 0.44l. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate and vanilla. Pours pitch black color with thin creamy cappuccino-like head and good lacing. Taste starts with mild sweet but rich roasted malt and chocolate, follows by coffee with smooth mouthfeel and rather dry finish. Light to medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate.
