Handcrafted at the tiny All Saints Brewery set in a time warp in Stamford using the old manually operated brewing equipment. Finest organically grown barley and wheat are used to create a complex ale which, having undergone primary and secondary fermentation with different yeasts and extended maturation, is taken to Samuel Smith’s small, independent British brewery at Tadcaster. There it is blended with pure organic cherry, strawberry, raspberry or apricot fruit juices and more organic beer to create fruit beers of considerable strength and flavour. The smooth distinctive character of the matured beer serves as the perfect counterpoint to the pure organic fruit juice.

I was pleasantly surprised with this beer. The taste is well balanced, nice taste of cherry, sweet, malt, a bit sour, few hop, 27.10.2016, buying it probably at the ex grain d'Orges, Crissier, drinking it at Lausanne, Prélaz.

Flashback to 2005 #1
It makes 20 years that I discovered craft beer and this, through a page a day calendar. Throughout the year, I'll be checking in beers from the 2005 calendar. What a journey!
This is tart and sweet with cherry pit, surprisingly good

Bottle from Connolly's Wine Merchants, online. Pours a clear red--brown colour with small creamy looking off-white head, nice retention. Aroma and taste of cherries and marzipan which dominate everything, sweet and tart, some wheat, peppery finish. Syrupy mouthfeel. I enjoyed the fruitiness of it a lot but it is so adjunct heavy it could almost be mistaken for a flavoured cider.

(Bottle) Pours clear reddish hues brown with tiny white head. Aroma is cherries with hints of burnt brown toast. Medium bodied with lovely fine bright carbonation. Great taste. Cherries and nice tartness. Some subtle nice malty and candy sweetness balances this. Very drinkable.

50cl pours a murky burnt red, white head. Big cherry and candy nose. Flavor same. Jolly rancher. Kids beer. Sweet finish.
