Draught at Plan B, Copenhagen
Black color; creamy head. Sharp aroma of roasted malt and wet cardboard, dusty. The body is quite thin, dry, with strong roasted malt flavor. I can’t say that it’s badly brewed, but it’s monodimensional, and anyway not my style.

(On tap) Black and opaque with a dense, beige head. Burned aroma. Medium-bodied with extremely roasted coffee notes. Dry and burned finish with a moderate bitterness. Extremely well composed and rich in flavours for a beer this low in alcohol. 040907

Draft. A pitch black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma is sweet malty -and very roasted with light notes of chocolate. The flavor is sweet malty with a light acidic note from the roasted malt, combined with a light note of chocolate, leading to a dry bitter roasted finish. The body is thin.

From tap at Ørsted Ølbar. Pours black with a light brown chocolate creamy head. Thick roasted aroma, chocolate and coffee. Slight overburned flavour, minor liqourice note, but enough to take out the chocolate, not as smooth as I had expected but certianly with the light body that it should have. Dry and heavy bitterfinish, clearly has the signature of its brewer. Great light bodied brew.

Dark, almost opaque color, ruby-brown color, beautiful creamy expresso head. Roasted malts, dark chocolate in the nose. Smooth mouthfeel (although not really carbonated), nicely malty, toasted dark malts in the flavor. Good imitation of Guinness and even better - fuller and more roasted.
