We Consider this an extreme version of an American Pale Ale. It has a very up front floral and citrus aroma from a late cascade addition and dry hopping with Amarillo. This beer also has a big malt background to balance the bitterness of the hops. The rye malt cleans up your palette after you swallow so the hop flavor does not stick in your mouth too long.

Bottle. Caramelly, sweet, refreshing hoppy aroma. Clear dark golden colour, small white head. There are also some caramel notes in a slightly sweet hop flavour. Nice, but could be better.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Degarth. Hazy golden with an of-white head. Aroma of overripe fruit and aroma hops. Medium body with fruit and caramel accents before a fairly bitter finish. 130608

Bottle at Oelbaren, Copenhagen. Pours hazy orange with a small off white head (though I poured hard). Aroma is hoppy & fresh - clearly cascade. Taste has a little rye & is dominated by hops - citrussy, fresh, crisp & hoppy. Very dry lasting bitter end!

Draught: Poured a murky orange with a thin white head. The aroma is citrus and hops. Taste was similar with hops, but very smooth balance finish.

Bottle from Whole Foods Raleigh. Pours an amber color with a small head. Sweet floral hop aroma. Rye and hops combine in the taste to make a bitter but pleasant experience, followed by a sweet finish. This one I could session all day!

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. A dark golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and very hoppy combined with lighter notes of grass and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of rye malt and lots of grassy hoppy notes as well as light notes of grapefruit.

Bright orangey amber color with a medium rocky head. Aroma of earthy grassy citric hops, and a grainy bready spicy malt and rye, in nearly equal portions. Flavor seems to mostly feature the citric cascades, malt is somewhat chewy and sticky with the spicy breadiness of the rye. Clean finish has a fair whack of bitterness. On the whole fairly balanced. Distinctly potable.
