Henderson’s flagship, Henderson’s Best, is a modern take on classic English Ale; refreshing, with a mild floral nose and an ABV of 5.5%. To create this beer, we tried to imagine the beer first brewed in Toronto at the beginning of the 19th century and how it would have changed and matured over the 215 years between then and now. That recipe, tweaked throughout 2015 became Henderson’s Best. Best won an award at the 2016 (Bronze) and 2017 (Gold) Ontario Brewing Awards. Henderson’s Best is moderately hopped, with caramel and malt-forward flavour. Well-balanced, smooth, and easy-drinking.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Amber colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is wood, some mild liquorice, herbs, floral and some mild nutty tones. Flavour is nutty, herbal, floral, some wooden and mild chocolaty tones. Nice mellow bitterness.

Mörkt bärnstensfärgad vätska med lätt offwhite-färgat skum. Aromer av karamell, örter och gräs. Maltig utan överdriven sötma som möter upp bra mot en lätt blommig beska. Mer lättsam karamell utan överdift mot godis. Balanserad.

Can 18/05/2024 Malmö May 2024 tasting at Palace Hall - new 🇨🇦 brewery ✅ toasted malty with notes of cereal, caramel biscuity malts, herbal twiggy hoppy undertones, light to medium body, toasted malty finish.

--Canned, from Systembolaget. -- Clear bronze colour, rich, firm head. Bready, spicy nose with some hay. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Spicy hay, grainy bread. Long bitter finish. Harmonious and well made.

Amberfarget klar med beige skum. Lukter kjeller, karamell og mørke stenfrukter. Middels fylde. Maltig, noe bitter. Smaker lett brent karamell, nøtter og kjeller. Middels lang.
