For this batch the medlars were macerated for 14 months in a blond wild ale instead of an amber coloured wild ale. This makes the medlars stand out even more and adds some cider like qualities.

0,75l bottle at Carnivale Brett, Amsterdam. yellow hazy color, small white head. smells flowery, honey, marzipan, rhubarb. full body, soft carbonation. tastes flowery, honey, rhubarb, bit earthy, grassy. finishes lightly dry and light to medium sour with notes of flowers, honey, rhubarb notes. Very nice one, great balance
