33cl bottle, with a different label and abv of 9%, label looked more like a pixel photocopy with a monk and a pig on it. BB end 2013. Couleur cuivre, col beige.

Bottled - we had a hard time figuring out if it was the blond or the brune - we think that the blue background behind the monk and pig makes it the brune. An unclear amber-brown beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and brettanomyces. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, yeast, malt, fruity esters, and a bit of brettanomyces, leading to a dry yeasty finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. The label is different from the one displayed, but whether the pig is male or female I dunno, and I don’t really care, but this for sure ain’t no Belgian Blond. Pours a cloudy and opaque nutty brown with a beige head. The nose has a little Brett and lots of brown sugar. Medium body, dried fruits, roasted malt and caramel with the Brett adding a dry edge. Phenollic finish. 080910

Bottled. Dark amber colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is some dark dry fruits, mild spices and mildly roasted malts. Flavour is yeasty, quite much sour fruits and mild alcohol. Something between a Belgian strong ale and sour ale. Pleasant.

Bottle at Delirium Cafe, Brussels, Belgium - Many thanks to Joris for sharing this one.
Brown to black body. Fizzy, light brown head with a fair lace. Nose of grapes, flowers and hints of ruby port. Moderately sweet, moderately bitter flavour with a presence of malts. Very long-lasting flavour. Medium bodied. Fizzy carbonation. A quite sweet Belgian strong ale, but certainly no dominating sweetness, the sweetness is perceived as a ’side-flavour’ for the malty flavour. Very good!
