Orange amber color. Toffee and peach in the aroma. Toffee, caramel, nutty bitterness and rubber in the flavor, though not in extremity. Strange flavor. Something went wrong in the brewing process?

Bottle @ Chokier, Gingelom. Hazy dark amber colour, creamy white foam. Taste is sweet, notes of caramel, light citrussy. Hars bitterness.

Commissioned beer (like everything from the ’Proef’) named after a baron who once was a regent of Belgium. Cream white, irregular, dense, not too stable head, orangey copper colour with equally divided yeast particles. Strongly nutty aroma, bit smoky, some mango, banana, kiwi, rhum, grass, candi and sherry. Caramelly malt taste with dried fruits, very nutty in the middle, rounded and smooth, finishing in mild hop bitterness and a mild ’toastedness’.

Hazy amber color. The aroma is malty, with ripe yellow fruits (prunes…), some dark honey. Full mouthfeel, malty, sweetness; excellent fermentation process; caramel; good level of bitterness; some esthers. Very good.

Bottle Creamy, off-white head, which diminishes totally. Good lace. Hazy, amber body. Nuts, caramel, flowers in the nose. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter initial flavour. Lightly bitter finish. Medium bodied.
